Emmie Seaton | Head of Studio/ Producer Emmie Seaton is a multiple award winning filmmaker. With her greatest passion being the film and television industry, she is highly motivated to achieving a successful career within it. Emmie has won awards in Academy® accredited and BAFTA recognised competitions, has worked on a music video for a #1 ARIA chart band and has interned at a multiple Emmy® award winning company. After completing a Film Studies course at the University of California, Los Angeles earlier this year, Emmie is determined to work in the US.
Sheri Mimis | Producer/ Writer Sheri Mimis is a budding filmmaker, originating from New Zealand, with a desire to share compelling stories that global audiences are able to connect with. Sheri aims to build a career in both Australia and internationally as a Producer and Writer. Sheri’s previous experience includes producing roles on student productions while undertaking her studies in the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Film, TV and New Media Major) at QUT.
Emma Dunlop | Director/ 1st AD Emma Dunlop is a final year film student focusing on honing her skills in directing, screenwriting, and 1st assistant directing. She aspires to make powerful narratives across all mediums and is determined to travel the world, meet and collaborate with other vibrant storytellers, and have adventures that will rival those of her characters.
Mateuse Pingol | Director/ Camera Op Mateuse Pingol is an aspiring cinematographer and promo producer who spends her free time peering out from little crevices capturing everyday human activity, lightheartedly writing alternative endings to TVCs and scouting for whimsical locations whilst fixating on symmetry. She began her filmmaking “career” as a tiny 12 year old, first making the shortlist multiple years for TropJr and then progressing to first place quality with her short films winning and screening at both national and international festivals. With professional experience in all aspects of filmmaking, Mateuse currently works as a videographer and editor creating corporate content for the QUT Science and Engineering Faculty, a camera operator for orchestra performances at QPAC, as well as a freelance dance videographer. Her ultimate goal is to work as a promo producer creating distinctive promotional content and devising new applications for storytelling in a multiplatform landscape.
Michael Turner | Writer/ Vision Editor Michael Turner is in his third year of a bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Film television and New Media Production at QUT - his passions lie in writing and visual editing. With a lifelong love for film, television and all things visual - Michael has been involved in a number of different projects throughout his studies - including short films and music videos . He currently works for the QUT Science and Engineering Faculty as a digital student ambassador, which entails visual editing, videography and photography. Recently Michael was part of the winning crew for the 2014 Super Cheap Auto Bathurst Big Break competition, in which he was editor. The advertisement was aired nationally during the Bathurst race.
Sascha Shipley | Director of Photography Sascha Shipley is currently one of the Heads of Cinematography of Greenhouse Studios and will be taking on DOP and Camera Operator roles in the upcoming productions. She aspires to be a leader from behind the camera by bringing creative content from scene to screen, through the manipulation of light and composition. After recently completing a four-month internship at a production company in Sydney, Sascha is excited to bring her experiences of working in a professional environment to the Greenhouse team!
Gemma White | Sound Recordist Gemma White is currently specialising in on location sound recording though she also has a keen interest in scriptwriting. She aspires to pursue a career in sound recording or idea development for television scripts. She has previously worked as a sound assistant on the 3rd year QUT production "Dead Ringer"
James Ward | Producer James Ward is an aspiring Producer currently in the final year of his ‘Bachelor of Fine Arts’ degree at the Queensland University of Technology. Having worked in a variety of areas within film production; both on sets and at companies such as Village Roadshow, James aims to build his experience and skill-set as a producer by initially working in the business area of the industry. He hopes that his life-long love affair with film will translate into a future career producing quality film and television for both Australian and International audiences.
Briana Goodchild | Director/ Art Department Briana Goodchild went to her grade one 'when I grow up day' with a beret on head and a cam-corder in hand, dressed as a movie director. And to this day, her aspirations have not changed! Hoping to one day land a career in Hollywood, Briana has written and directed numerous award winning projects including shorts, TVCs and music videos and has worked with award winning directors such as, Director of 'The Burning Season', Cathy Henkel and Bollywood Director Hansel Mehta. But with her graduate productions currently in the mix, 2015 will be her biggest and best year yet!
Isabella Cassidy | Director/ Art Department Isabella Cassidy is an aspiring writer/director but is also interested in many other areas of film production including production design, cinematography and editing. As well as a love for film, Isabella has a passion for photography and visual arts. After graduating from QUT with a degree in Film, Television and New Media Production in November this year, Isabella hopes to make films which highlight the diversity of our world and is especially interested in creating LGBTI orientated projects. It is her dream to one day have her work shown at the Cannes and Sundance film festivals.
Julian Sundstrom | Writer Julian Sundstrom is an aspiring screenwriter born in Sweden. He has had a passion for film and storytelling his entire life, and moved to Brisbane to educate himself and pursue his dream of screenwriting. He aspires to write feature films and work in Hollywood, and wants to win an Oscar for “Best Original Screenplay” before turning 40.
Anwen Towne | 1st AD/ Vision Editor Born and raised in rural Far North Queensland, Anwen Towne has nursed a passion for arts and entertainment – particularly the craft of Writing and Editing – since a young age. She is currently finishing a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Film, TV and New Media Production at the Queensland University of Technology with the intent of utilizing her skills in the production and post-production of local and international film and televisual projects. In addition to her film studies, Anwen has been trained in the disciplines of Classical Voice, Music Theory, and Dance and has collaborated with various artists and corporations in tours across Australia, Asia, and Europe.
Thomas Sinclair | Camera Op Thomas Sinclair is currently specialising in Camera/Lighting at QUT and has had a passion for film since making videos with friends and family at a young age. His professional interests lie in cinematography, writing and directing. He has previously been involved in a variety of short films and music videos.
Chloe Sormaz | Vison Editor Chloe Sormaz is currently in her final year of QUT's Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, Television, and New Media. Her love for film and TV started at a young age. In recent years she has realised that the best part of viewing content is the power a great story can have in capturing its audience. While she enjoys working in all areas in pre-production, her passion is for vision editing. Chloe has experienced many different roles on both film sets, and television studio work. She has plans to work in both professionally in years to come. Her dream career: to be a Oscar award winning vision editor.
